Marcus Watts
Senior Facility Security Officer
Background
Marcus joined Galois in 2025 as Senior Facility Security Officer, based in our Arlington office. He began his career as a government background investigator, laying the groundwork for a deep understanding of national security protocols and investigative methodologies. He deployed to Afghanistan as a government contractor for 18 months, gaining invaluable field experience in high-pressure environments. Over the past 17 years, Marcus has honed his expertise across both operational and strategic dimensions of security and risk management, and he’s committed to bringing that breadth of experience, dedication, and integrity to the Galwegian community.
When he’s not safeguarding our people and facilities, Marcus loves to travel (he’s visited 59 countries), cheer on his sports teams (GO BUCKEYES!), host game nights with friends, and listen to live music (especially EDM).
